We may request a deposit or advance payment to secure your booking.

Booking times are scheduled carefully, but arrival times may be affected by:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Road conditions
  • Delays from previous jobs
  • Truck availability
  • Access issues
  • Circumstances outside our control

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive on time and complete the move safely.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure that:

  • All moving details provided are accurate
  • Someone is available at pickup and delivery locations
  • Items are packed safely before movers arrive, unless packing service is booked
  • Fragile, valuable, or special-care items are clearly identified
  • Parking, lift access, building access, and loading areas are arranged
  • Required permissions from building managers, body corporate, or councils are arranged
  • All items to be moved are legally owned by the customer or the customer has permission to move them
  • Pathways, driveways, stairs, and access areas are safe and clear

The customer is responsible for checking that all required items have been loaded and unloaded.

7. Items We May Refuse to Move

For safety and legal reasons, we may refuse to move certain items, including but not limited to:

  • Perishable food
  • Live animals
  • Plants where transport may cause damage
  • Unsealed liquids
  • Open containers
  • Items that are unsafe to lift or transport
  • Items that may damage the truck, movers, property, or other goods

We may also refuse or stop a job if the working environment is unsafe.

8. Fragile, Valuable, and Special Items

Customers must inform us before the move if they have fragile, expensive, antique, sentimental, oversized, or special-care items.

This may include:

  • Glass items
  • Mirrors
  • Artwork
  • Electronics
  • Marble or stone items
  • Pianos
  • Pool tables
  • Antiques
  • Designer furniture
  • Heavy items
  • Oversized furniture
  • Fragile cabinets or display units

Some items may require special packing, extra movers, special equipment, or a separate quote.

If special-care items are not disclosed before the move, we may not be responsible for delays, extra charges, or damage risks caused by the missing information.

9. Packing and Preparation

Unless packing services are booked, the customer is responsible for packing items properly before our team arrives.

Boxes should be:

  • Strong
  • Sealed

Fragile items should be wrapped with suitable protective materials.

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • Card
  • Bank transfer
  • Other approved payment methods

Payment is generally required on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For some jobs, payment may be required before unloading or before completion.

14. Insurance

Standard moving charges do not include full goods, contents, or transit insurance unless this is clearly stated in writing before the booking.

Insurance for goods during a move is optional and is the customer’s responsibility to arrange if they want additional protection.

Our business may hold public liability, vehicle, or business insurance where applicable, but this does not mean every item, loss, delay, or damage claim is automatically covered.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes the customer’s rights under Australian Consumer Law.
